Still Standing, virtual exhibit

Still Standing captures NYC's resilient artists to highlight some of the many faces that contribute to the cities bustling Arts & Culture scene. Photographed by Brittany Franklin, using film and digital format, she aims to capture the spirit that inspires today's creative economy to shift the future of work, during the pandemic. By leveraging the power of virtual reality, and inspiration from the architecture of her favorite galleries in New York,  Brittany saught out to design and curate a safe space, online.

Accessible by desktop or  VR headset, virtual guests can opt to navigate the space independently, or take a guided tour narrated by Brittany.

"My goal with this exhibition was to make the artists art, but also to demonstrate new ways to gather, support and exhibit art without sacrificing space or modality. I built a virtual extension of my dream gallery, to honor both the art and the patrons."  - Britt Franklin

This exhibition is commissioned by Stonehenge, and is the final showcase for the 2021 Stonehenge Artist in Residency program.
